1/2/2021
Lucienne Renaudin Vary is announced this week as a Menuhin Heritage Artist at Gstaad Festival. A core part of the festival’s programme, proven young artists are invited to continue the development of their international careers with annual concerts at the festival across 5 years. Alumni of the scheme include Alina Ibragimova, Jean Rondeau, and Alexandre Kantorow.
Lucienne’s tenure as Heritage Artist begins in August 2021 in a recital with accordionist Félicien Brut. Their programme centres around Astor Piazzolla, whose centenary is celebrated this year. Lucienne’s latest album, Piazzolla Stories, is released on 26 February, and the full Festival programme is announced on 1 February.
