Lucienne Renaudin Vary debuts at Festival de Saint Denis and with Orchestre de Chambre de Paris

On 23 September Lucienne Renaudin-Vary performs with Orchestre national d’Île de France in collaboration with Troy Miller and Polyarts in an evening of jazz orchestral classics, as part of the Festival de Saint-Denis. The concert takes place in the Basilique de Saint-Denis, with vocals from acclaimed singer Shaun Escoffery. The programme features Miller’s bespoke arrangements of Gershwin classics such as Fascinating Rhythm, An American In Paris, and Someone to Watch Over Me.
Later in the week on 26 September, Lucienne performs Hummel’s Concerto for Trumpet in the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées with Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, conducted by Marzena Diakun. In the opening concert of the season, this all-female soloist event will be broadcast live on France Musique and will be available for listening on demand after the concert.
