Lucienne Renaudin Vary is the first woman to be awarded the Arthur Waser Preis, which supports outstanding young soloists.

According to the jury, Renaudin Vary has distinguished herself through her versatility in both classical and jazz genres.

The Arthur Waser Preis amounts to 25 000 CHF.

Renaudin Vary will receive the prize when she returns to Luzerner Sinfonieorchester on 6 February 2020.
