Golda Schultz again graces our screens in her long awaited debut as Agathe in a new production of Weber’s Der Freischütz by Dmitri Tcherniakov. Broadcast live on Bayersiche Staatsoper’s website on 13 February, this streamed premiere is conducted by Antonello Manacorda. 

Derek Welton takes on Stravinsky’s masterpiece, Oedipus Rex, singing both Creon and Bote in his debut with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Music Director Kirill Petrenko,. The stream marks the orchestra’s first vocal programme since the start of the pandemic, and is broadcast live via the Digital Concert Hall on 13 February.

Recorded at Grand Théâtre de Genève, Mari Eriksmoen excels as the ethereal Mélisande in the remarkable production of choreographers Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Damien Jalet and visual artist Marina Abramovic. This mysterious and atmospheric Pelléas et Mélisande will be available on OperaVision from 19 February.
