Víkingur Ólafsson and Sayaka Shoji travel to Japan as one of the first Japanese and non-Japanese artist duos to do a major recital tour in Japan since the pandemic. Both artists self isolated for 14 days upon arrival in Japan.

The eight-date tour will begin on 12 December with a recital at Yamagata Terrsa Hall and conclude at Suntory Hall in Tokyo on 23^rd December. The programme will include works by Bach, Bartok, Prokofiev and Brahms and will also include performances at Yokohama Minatomirai Hall (13 Dec), Aichi Prefectural Art Theater Concert Hall (14 Dec), Act City Hamamatsu Concert Hall (15 Dec), Izumi Hall in Osaka (17 Dec), Art Tower Mito (18 Dec) and Tokyo Bunkakaikan Main Hall (21 Dec).
