Sayaka Shoji returns to tour with the Philharmonia Orchestra

Sayaka Shoji joins the Philharmonia on two tours over the coming months. The Paris based, Japanese violinist performs Brahms in three concerts on a UK Tour, including: Cardiff (27 Nov), London (28 Nov) and Cambridge (30 Nov) with Maestro Vladimir Ashkenazy at the helm.
Kicking off 2020, Shoji then joins the orchestra on their Japanese tour with concerts in Hyogo (25 Jan) and Tokyo (28 Jan) under the baton of Esa-Pekka Salonen playing Shostakovich 1.
Further ahead highlights this season include a debut with The Cleveland Orchestra as part of their Blossom Festival and performing with long-time mentor, Yuri Temirkanov in a concert to close the St Petersburg Philharmonic season.
