This week in Madrid, Karita Mattila (Foreign Princess), Katarina Dalayman (in her debut as Jezibaba), and Rachel Kelly and Alyona Abramova (as second and third Nymphs respectively) bring focus to Antonin Dvořák’s ninth opera Rusalka. Considered by many to be the cornerstone of the Czech operatic repertoire, Teatro Real take you through the aquatic fable of sacrifice and redemption in a new production by Christoph Loy and conducted by Ivor Bolton. Performances run from 12 November.
