Karita Mattila returns to Munich to take on one of several role debuts this season, this time as Ortrud in Richard Jones’s celebrated production of Lohengrin conducted by Lothar Koenigs with performances running from 21 November 2019.

Further exciting role debuts this season include a highly anticipated return to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden to sing Klytaemnestra (Elektra) under Antonio Pappano in a new production by Christoph Loy.
