On 27 and 31 August, Patricia Kopatchinskaja travels to Cologne and Merano with period ensemble Il Giardino Armonico in support of the release of their new album, What’s Next Vivaldi? The concerts intersperse movements from Vivaldi’s virtuosic concertos with music from more recent composers, including Luca Francesconi, Giacinto Scelsi, Simone Movio, and a new commission from Stefano Gervasoni.
