During August, soprano Mari Eriksmoen keeps vocal music alive and joins four festivals in selections of Mozart, Beethoven, Grieg and Canteloube. First up is the Opening Concert of the reimagined Nordland Musikkfestuke on 1 Aug, performing Beethoven and Grieg songs on Bodø Harbour and livestreamed on the Festival’s Facebook page. Then on to Handel and Mozart arias at the Stavanger Chamber Music Festival on 8 August with the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra and Jan Willem de Vriend, and returning to her hometown for Canteloube’s Chants d’Auvergne with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra under Ed Gardner on 19 & 20 August.
