Following the incredibly successful reception of their first disc released in January 2019, Chief Conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali and Gothenburg Symphony are celebrating another great recording with the second album of their Sibelius cycle.

Featuring Sibelius’ Symphony No.2 as well as King Christian II Suite, the album, which was released in February on Alpha, has received excellent reviews internationally and was named CD of the month in Rondo Magazine: ​“No questions asked, this album marks an exciting new beginning.” It has also been awarded a Trophee Award by Radio Classique and the second Choc de Classica of the cycle so far!
