Nikolai Lugansky returns to Washington National Symphony Orchestra for a series of concerts with Manfred Honeck. He plays Mozart Piano Concerto No.24 in C minor on 30 and 31 January and 1 February at The Kennedy Centre. Lugansky continues his U.S. tour with recitals and masterclasses in Ithaca on 4 February at Ithaca College; Asheville on 7 February at Central United Methodist Church and in Chicago on 8 February at Northwestern Bienen School of Music. The programme of the recitals is based around Beethoven and Liszt, celebrating the 250^th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth and Lugansky’s new album with Harmonia Mundi, Preludes & Fugues by Cesar Franck, that will be released later this year.
