The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra celebrates its 125th year season (2019/20) with two special concerts on 18 and 19 January, featuring music of major significance in the ensemble’s history. The programme includes Daníel Bjarnason’s work Collider, which was commissioned by the Orchestra in 2015.
The 15-minute work was recorded with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, of which Bjarnason is Principal Guest Conductor, and was released in 2018 as part of an album of his music, with the same title.
