Christopher Warren-Green returns to Hong Kong to conduct the traditional New Year’s concert with Hong Kong Philharmonic, with two performances at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Hall on 30 and 31 December 2019. 

The programme contains a selection of joyful and popular waltzes and polkas by Strauss as well as the Overture and Arias from his well-known operetta Die Fledermaus, with coloratura soprano Sharleen Joynt. Other highlights of the concert are two Asian premieres of Robert Moran Points of Departure and Louis Andriessen Nine Symphonies of Beethoven in which the Dutch composer gives a sparkly preview of Beethoven’s masterpiece.
