Alban Gerhardt gives the US premiere of Brett Dean’s highly acclaimed Cello Concerto with Osmo Vänskä and Minnesota Orchestra on 14 November. His North America tour starts with a recital at Shriver Hall Baltimore where Gerhardt performs Bach Suites as well as Beethoven, Debussy and Franck Sonatas for Cello and Piano with Cecile Licad. Gerhardt concludes his tour at Orchestre symphonique de Montréal with Dvořák’s Cello Concerto conducted by Hannu Lintu.
