Pierre-Laurent Aimard and François-Xavier Roth team up this autumn for Bartók’s Piano Concerto No.1 with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, following their concerts together with the Berliner Philharmoniker (24 – 26 Oct) and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (30 – 31 Oct). They appear on 14 and 15 November.

The two collaborate several more times over the 2019/20 season. With the Gürzenich Orchestra and François-Xavier Roth, Pierre-Laurent tours Europe with their ​‘New Academy Concerts’ series created in the spirit of Beethoven’s Academy soirées where the German showcased his compositions to the Viennese public (9 – 11 February, 16, 21, and 24 February). The two also reunite in the spring with the Orchestre de Paris (20 ‑21 May)
