Josep Pons returns to conduct Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo this week with an explosive programme of Beethoven, de Falla and Ravel. The orchestra is joined by Mexican pianist Jorge Federico Osorio for Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 and Ravel’s Alborada del Gracioso. The concert also features the Interlude and Dance from La Vida Breve and Suite No.2 from El Sombrero de Tres Picos by Spanish composer Manuel de Falla. The three concerts are on 29, 30 and 31 August.
