Rumon Gamba conducts the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert celebrating the 90^th birthday of film composer, Frédéric Devreese. Gamba has previously worked with Devreese, and this concert on 5 June honours the composer with a ​‘musical portrait’ programme.

This follows Rumon’s successful collaboration with Rotterdam Philharmonic for their Arabian Nights programme. Gamba will later return to WDR Rundfunk to close their season with a Western Film Music concert. He is known for his award-winning recordings with Chandos, in particular their Film Music Series.
