This week Rumon Gamba returns to Scottish Opera to open their 2018/19 season conducting a revival of the 2011 production of Rigoletto, directed by Matthew Richardson (The Devil Inside 2016).

Performances open on 18 October in Glasgow and run until 24 November also in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Inverness.

The performances follow Rumon’s successful collaboration with Scottish Opera in February 2017 where he conducted an all-British programme of Elgar and Britten in Ayr Town Hall.
