Creative Chair of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, John Adams joins the orchestra’s centenary celebrations on 1 June, leading the LA Phil New Music Group in a Green Umbrella concert that includes four world premieres from ​‘dynamic composers whose musical explorations range from the physical and kinetic to the light and effervescent’.

Featuring music by Freya Waley-Cohen (Changeling), Donnacha Dennehy (Overcasting), Jeffrey Mumford (…amid still and floating depths) and Christopher Stark (Cascade), the performance is the third and concluding part to the ​‘Noon to Midnight’ pop-up performances taking place throughout the day at the Walt Disney Hall.
