Daniel Blendulf makes his US debut with Detroit Symphony Orchestra

Daniel Blendulf makes his first appearance in the US this week in his debut with Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Blendulf conducts the Orchestra in their series of Neighbourhood Concerts on 16, 17, 18 and 19 May, with a programme featuring Sallinen’s Some Aspects of Peltoniemi Hintrik’s Funeral March, Schönberg’s Chamber Symphony No.2 and Strauss’ Duett-Concertino for Clarinet and Bassoon. Following the duet with Ralph Skiano (clarinet) and Robert Williams (bassoon), Blendulf and the Orchestra perform Mozart’s Symphony No.40.
