This season celebrates Peter Eötvös’ residency at Staatskapelle Dresden. A series of six concerts pay tribute to the composer’s life and work, launching on 27 November in a special Hungarian programme featuring three of Eötvös’ pieces, conducted by himself, as well as Bartók’s Miraculous Mandarin.
This will follow with a portrait concert on 11 January 2019, on the composer’s 75th birthday.
