Alexei Volodin features on Borodin Quartet’s new Shostakovich album

Alexei Volodin joins the Borodin Quartet for their latest release of “Shostakovich: The Complete String Quartets and Piano Quintet”. The 7‑disc box set is due to be released on 28 September 2018 with Decca Records.

Alexei has a long standing collaboration with the Borodin Quartet with whom he performs regularly. His next performance with the Quartet will be the Shostakovich Piano Quintet at Wigmore Hall in January 2019.
