Alban Gerhardt returns to Kennedy Center under the baton of Fabien Gabel to perform Ernest Bloch’s Schelomo, Hebraic Rhapsody for Cello and Orchestra with concerts on 8 and 10 February. The programme also includes Dukas’ Overture to Polyeucte, Rachmaninov’s The Rock: Fantasy and Shostakovich’s Symphony No.9.
