Czech Conductor Jiří Rožeň signs to HarrisonParrott

HarrisonParrott is delighted to welcome conductor Jiří Rožeň to its roster for general management.
Described as one of the most exciting and promising conductors of his generation, this season Jiří embarks on an ambitious international career, debuting with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Bruckner Orchester Linz, Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra and Wiener Concert-Verein on tour at Musikverein in Vienna and Kölner Philharmonie. His recent and upcoming artistic collaborations include working with Kirill Gerstein, Vadim Gluzman, Olga Scheps, Tamsin Waley-Cohen and Mahan Esfahani.
A passionate advocate of Czech music, Jiří regularly conducts not only standard works from Czech repertoire, but also new music and lesser-known works by his prolific compatriots. His programmes often include music by Josef Suk, Leoš Janáček, Bohuslav Martinů, Miloslav Kabeláč and Viktor Kalabis.
