Next week General Music Director, Kent Nagano takes the music of Brahms to Hungary to conduct the Hamburg Philharmonic State Orchestra on 29 November in the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall.
The first piece of this exciting programme will be Brahms’ Violin Concerto, played by Veronika Eberle, which holds a special connection to Hungary through Jozsef Joachim, the Hungarian virtuoso for whom the concerto was written.
