Gautier Capuçon gives European performances of Beethoven’s triple concerto with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig and Herbert Blomstedt, joined by violinist Leonidas Kavakos and pianist Kirill Gerstein. The tour, which began with a performance in Leipzig on 30 September, will take the concert to Barbican Centre London (22 Oct), Philharmonie de Paris (24 Oct), Philharmonie Luxembourg (26 Oct) and Musikverein Vienna (30 Oct). 

Next in Gautier’s diary is a US tour with the National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra and Lü Jia, for performances of Qigang Chen’s Cello Concerto in Philadelphia (1 Nov) and Chapel Hill (2 Nov).
