Pablo Heras-Casado makes his debut at the BBC Proms, conducting Freiburger Barockorchester on 3 September. This all-Mendelssohn programme features Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto with Isabelle Faust as soloist, as well as his overture The Hebrides and Symphony No.5. 

Earlier this summer Heras-Casado conducted the Scottish Chamber Orchestra in Mendelssohn’s Lobesgesang at Edinburgh International Festival. He returns to the UK in January 2018 to conduct the Philharmonia and Pierre-Laurent Aimard in works by Ravel and Debussy.
