Andrew Foster-Williams joins the Bregenzer Festspiele as both Escamillo in Kasper Holten​’s new production of Carmen and Faraone in Mosè in Egitto under Enrique Mazzola, opening on 19 and 20 July respectively. 

Marking a move towards more dramatic repertoire, Andrew added Orest in Strauss’ Elektra this season in concert performances with David Afkham and Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España. Next season he sings his first Telramund (Lohengrin) at La Monnaie and further ahead he adds Kurwenal (Tristan und Isolde) to his repertoire.
