This summer Barry Banks sings the Astrologer in two new productions of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Le Coq d’Or; firstly directed by Laurent Pelly at Teatro Real in Madrid under Ivor Bolton from 29 May, then by Paul Curran at Santa Fe Opera under Emmanuel Villaume from 15 July.
