Allison Cook premieres Glowicka at La Monnaie

This week, Allison Cook sings in recital at La Monnaie with a programme including the world premiere of Katarina Glowicka’s Unknown,Schoenberg’s Das Buch der hängenden Gärten and extracts from Adès’ Powder Her Face and Kurt Weill’s Cabaret Songs, on 3 April.

Fresh from performances in one of her signature roles — Marquise de Merteuil — in Francesconi’s Quartett at Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, next Allison performs Mark-Anthony Turnage’s Greek at the Edinburgh International Festival this summer.
