Five HarrisonParrott artists perform at Maggio Musicale Fiorentino

In the coming months, five HarrisonParrott artists will travel to Italy for performances at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
First to perform is young British soprano, Anna Gillingham, who returns to Florence as Pamina in Damiano Michieletto’s production of Die Zauberflöte under Roland Böer, opening 24 March.
Following her debut at the festival last summer as Nancy in Britten’s Albert Herring, Rachel Kelly returns as Idamante in Michieletto’s production of Idomeneo under Gianluca Capuano from 26 April.
Following his debut in Florence as Oroe in Rossini’s Semiramide, Moldovan bass Oleg Tsibulko returns to sing Frate in Verdi’s Don Carlounder Zubin Mehta, with performances from 5 to 14 May.
Making an anticipated debut at the Maggio Musicale is Michael Barenboim, performing Schoenberg’s Violin Concerto under Zubin Mehta on 24 April.
Last to perform, on 24 July, is Daniel Cohen who returns for his third time to the festival, conducting Mozart’s Horn Concerto Horn No.4 and Brahms’ Symphony No.2.
