Angela Hewitt returns to Munich on 11 December for a concert at the Philharmonie im Gasteig. Directing Festival Strings Lucerne from the keyboard, Hewitt performs Bach’s Keyboard Concertos in D major and D minor and Mozart’s Piano Concertos Nos. 9 and 14. 

Hewitt previously directed the orchestra from the keyboard in November 2015 at Lucerne Festival. She has also taken part in play/​direct projects with Basel Chamber Orchestra and Camerata Salzburg, and in March 2017 she will direct the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra from the keyboard in two concertos by Bach.
