This week, Katarina Dalayman expands an already extensive repertoire with her performance as Herodias in Sofia Jupither’s highly-acclaimed production of Salome at the Royal Swedish Opera. Conducted by Music Director Lawrence Renes, performances run from 11 November to 7 December.

Dalayman has also recently debuted the roles of Ortrud (Lohengrin) at Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw under Sir Mark Elder and Jocasta (Oedipus Rex) with the Philharmonia Orchestra and Esa-Pekka Salonen, and will shortly return to The Metropolitan Opera as Foreign Princess in Mary Zimmerman’s new production of Rusalka.
