On 5 November Stefan Asbury makes his debut with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, when he conducts Bach’s (arr. Webern) Ricercare, Amy’s Cello Concerto and L’Espace du Souffle, and Messiaen’s Le Tombeau Resplendissant.

Asbury conducts alongside solo cellist Leonard Elschenbroich in a concert-weekend dedicated to composer and conductor, Gilbert Amy.

Following this concert in Paris, Stefan will perform in November with Filarmonica della Scala, conducting Grisey’s L’Icône paradoxale, and with ORF Radio-Symphonieorchester Wien in the new year.
