Christian Tetzlaff returns to London’s Wigmore Hall
12/10/2016
Christian Tetzlaff performs once more at Wigmore Hall this year, on 16 October, together with sister Tanja Tetzlaff, with whom he presented a duo recital there in January.
On this occasion they are joined by Lars Vogt to play an all-Brahms programme with the composer’s complete Piano Trios, including the late revision of Piano Trio Op. 8.
The three musicians are long-time collaborators, having just played together last month with the Royal Northern Sinfonia at the Sage Gateshead, performing Beethoven’s Triple Concerto. They will present this same piece again in London at the beginning of February with the Philharmonia Orchestra, under Paavo Järvi.
Christian Tetzlaff also performs at the Wimbledon International Music Festival next month, in a solo programme as well as with his quartet.
