This week sees Javier Perianes step in to make his debut with Los Angeles Philharmonic under the baton of Pablo Heras-Casado, playing Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major. Concerts take place on 7, 8 & 9 October at Walt Disney Concert Hall and the programme also features Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.

Further North American highlights in Perianes’s 2016/17 season include appearances with Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal and Nashville Symphony Orchestra, as well as recitals in Washington, New York, San Francisco and Vancouver. He also tours South America, appearing in Buenos Aires (Teatro Colón), Santiago de Chile, Lima and Bogotá.
