This week, Grammy award-winner Anne Sofie von Otter embarks on a tour of her new album – So Many Things – with trailblazing string quartet Brooklyn Rider. Beginning in North Carolina on 7 October, the artists then travel to Washington on 8 October and conclude at Carnegie Hall on 13 October.

Featuring new works written especially for them by Nico Muhly and Pulitzer Prize winner Caroline Shaw, alongside new arrangements of John Adams, Elvis Costello, Sting and Björk, this unique collaboration has culminated in an eclectic, cross-Atlantic album.

Performances will continue in Europe in November including appearances at the Baltic Sea Festival, Grote Zangers in Utrecht, La Monnaie, Saffron Hall, Luxembourg Philharmonie, and Opernhaus Zürich.
