Christopher Ventris again graces the stage of Opernhaus Zürich, this time as Max in Herbert Fritsch’s new production of Der Freischütz. Conducted by Marc Albrecht, performances run from 18 September to 22 October.

One of the UK’s most successful tenor exports, Ventris has an exciting season ahead including a return to Wiener Staatsoper in a new production of Parsifal conducted by Semyon Bychkov, also joining them as Siegmund (Die Walküre) on their tour to Japan, and his first appearance at Budapest’s Wagner Tage joining Adam Fischer in Die Walküre.
