Camilla Tilling sings Contessa in Stockholm

Camilla Tilling makes her debut at Kungliga Operan singing Contessa Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro) under Jonathan Darlington, from 22 August.
Camilla has performed Mozart’s Susanna at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and at Opera National de Paris, and she made her transition to Contessa last season at Drottningholms Slottsteater.
Camilla will return to Stockholm with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra under Michael Tilson Thomas later this season singing Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis, a piece she also performs with Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra and at Teatro all Scala. Elsewhere, she sings Mahler’s Symphony No.4 with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Sir Simon Rattle and returns to the US for Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Andris Nelsons.
