Camilla Tilling returns to Milan for Beethoven

On 22 December Camilla Tilling returns to Teatro alla Scala for Beethoven’s Symphony No.9, under the baton of Christoph von Dohnányi.
This Milano return marks the close of a particularly busy and impressive year for Tilling including Berg’s Sieben frühe Lieder with François-Xavier Roth and the London Symphony Orchestra, Dutilleux’s Correspondances with Esa-Pekka Salonen and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Bach’s B minor Mass with Philippe Jordan and the Wiener Symphoniker and Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Andris Nelsons.
The second half of the 2016/17 season for Camilla Tilling includes further La Scala appearances in Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis with Bernard Haitink, Mahler’s Symphony No.4 with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Sir Simon Rattle and Beethoven Symphony No.9 with Alan Gilbert and the New York Philharmonic.
