Barry Banks makes his debut appearance at Seattle Opera in the title role of Le Comte Ory on 7, 10 and 19 August, under Giacomo Sagripanti.

A highly respected artist in Rossini repertoire with recent performances including Don Narciso in Il turco in Italia at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, and Arnold (Guillaume Tell) for Welsh National Opera, this coming season Barry joins Theater an der Wien in Rossini’s Elisabetta as Norfolk, and returns to La Coruña as Almaviva (Il barbiere di Siviglia).
