This week, Erin Wall and Zach Borichevsky make welcome returns to Santa Fe Opera in their role debuts as Vanessa and Anatol, respectively, in James Robinson’s new production of Barber’s Vanessa. Conducted by Leonard Slatkin, performances run from 30 July to 24 August.

Erin Wall will reprise the title role later this season in concert with Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin under David Zinman. Other highlights include Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) for San Francisco Opera, and her first Desdemona (Otello) at Vancouver Opera.

Previously at Santa Fe in Strauss’ Arabella, Zach has an exciting season ahead with debuts at both Glyndebourne Festival and Seattle Opera as Alfredo (La traviata) as well as a return to The Metropolitan Opera as Edmondo (Manon Lescaut).
