Lauren Fagan bids farewell to the Jette Parker Young Artists’ Programme

This week, Lauren Fagan gives her final performance as a member of the Jette Parker Young Artists’ Programme at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. In the annual summer performance on 17 July, Lauren performs in scenes from Gounod’s Mireille and Leoncavallo’s La bohème.
During her time as a member of the programme, Lauren has appeared on the main stage as Oscar (Un ballo in maschera), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte), Giannetta (L’elisir d’amore) and Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica), recently stood in for an ailing colleague as Antigone in Enescu’s Oedipe and is currently appearing as Ines in David Bösch’s new production of Il trovatore.
Lauren’s first freelance season includes Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) at the Verbier Festival, her debut with Welsh National Opera as Musetta in Puccini’s La bohème and appears as one of the soloists in Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music at this year’s Last Night of The Proms.
