This week, Oliver Zeffman embarks on a tour conducting his orchestra Melos Sinfonia, performing George Benjamin’s Written on Skin, directed by Jack Furness and featuring Lauren Fagan as Agnès and Bethan Langford as 2nd Angel. The tour includes performances on 19 October at West Road Concert Hall in Cambridge, 20 October in LSO St. Luke’s and on 22 October at the Mariinsky Concert Hall, giving the St. Petersburg premiere of the opera, at the invitation of Valery Gergiev.
