This week Josep Pons returns to the Gran Teatre del Liceu for a production of Wagner’s Götterdämmerung. Directed by Robert Carsen, the production opens on 28 February and runs until 19 March.

Musical Director of the Catalan opera house since 2012, Josep Pons has conducted a number of critically acclaimed performances at the house of both operatic repertoire and also symphonic music with the Orquesta Sinfónica del Gran Teatre del Liceu. 

These performances follow successful concerts with Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse in January 2016.
