On 26 January Jean-Efflam Bavouzet makes his return to London’s International Piano Series performing Beethoven’s last three piano sonatas (Op.109 – 111) at St John’s Smith Square.

Earlier this month Bavouzet completed the recording of these three sonatas as a continuation of his cycle of the complete Beethoven sonatas for Chandos.

The recital in London precedes a return to Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall later in the week where Bavouzet performs Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major with the BBC Philharmonic and Jesús López-Cobos on 29 January.
