On 17 January Eivind Gullberg Jensen debuts with Hamburger Symphoniker, conducting Debussy’s Prélude à l’après midi d’un faune,Prokofiev’s Symphony No.7 and Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No.1 alongside soloist Guy Braunstein.

This follows on directly from performances on 9 and 10 January with Junge Deutsche Philharmonie in Schweinfurt and at Alte Oper Frankfurt respectively. The orchestra’s winter project features some of the most celebrated music written for ​‘Les Ballet Russes’ by Debussy, Falla, Satie and Stravinsky. Dancer-choreographers Frances Chiaverini and Inma Rubio join Gullberg Jenson and the orchestra on stage for Satie’s Parade and Stravinsky’s Petrouchka.
