This week young American baritone Tobias Greenhalgh debuts the role of Ned Keene at Theater an der Wien. Performing in Christof Loy’s production of Peter Grimes under Cornelius Meister from 12 December, Tobias is currently a member of the theatre’s Junges Ensemble and has already sung roles in Gli uccellatori, L’incoronazione di Poppea, and a double bill of Les mamelles de Tirésias and L’heure espagnole.

Later this season he will debut Escamillo (Carmen) in Vienna, and, further ahead, will appear in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Theater an der Wien in 2018.
