Hannu Lintu returns to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra
13/11/2015
This week Hannu Lintu returns to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra for three concerts. The performances feature Hilary Hahn as soloist in Dvořák’s Violin Concerto and Sibelius’ Lemminkäinen Suite, and take place at The Music Centre at Strathmore (19 November) and Baltimore’s Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall (20 and 21 November).
Lintu’s highlights in the near future include appearances with the Orchestre national de Lille, the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, and the Gulbenkian Orchestra. In January 2016 he will conduct John Adams’ Scheherazade.2 with Leila Josefowicz and the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra both in Helsinki and on tour in Austria.
